About TLV Flights
TLV Flights is an independent Israeli website that shows arrivals and departures at Ben Gurion Airport in real time, alongside tools that answer what a passenger actually needs around a flight - how to get to the airport, what documents a destination requires, where lost baggage is handled, and what compensation the law provides for a delay or a cancellation.
The site has been running since 2025, is free to use, and is not operated by the Israel Airports Authority or by any airline.
Where the data comes from
Every number on the site traces back to a named source. Nothing is estimated when a real measurement exists.
-
Flight boardThe Israel Airports Authority public feed, published as open government data. It is refreshed continuously and carries scheduled and actual times, status, terminal and gate.
-
Flight historyThe public feed only holds a rolling window of about three days, so every flight is saved to our own database each day. The airline statistics and the delay records on the site are computed from that archive, which we built ourselves.
-
Trains and busesTrain departures from the airport are live from Israel Railways, including delay and platform. Bus departures come from the Ministry of Transport GTFS schedule and are planned times, not live.
-
Everything elseVisa and document requirements, travel advisories, currency rates, customs codes and airline contact details are each taken from the relevant official body, and the page says which one.
How the numbers are produced
Raw flight data cannot be counted as-is, and the choices made in processing it are worth stating openly:
-
Codeshare filteringOne physical flight appears in the feed once per marketing airline. Before counting, duplicates are merged and the flight is attributed to the airline that actually operated it, so a single aircraft is not counted several times.
-
DelaysA delay is the gap between the originally scheduled time and the actual time reported for that flight - not an estimate and not a passenger report.
-
Flight durationDuration on a flight page is the airline's published block time for that leg in that direction, not distance divided by speed. Where no published time is available the page marks the figure as approximate.
-
Airline rankingsAn airline enters a ranking only after at least 50 flights in the measured period, so a handful of flights cannot produce a headline number. A ranking measures one narrow operational parameter in one period - not the overall quality of the airline.
What's on the site
The eSIM store
Alongside the flight information, TLV Flights sells prepaid travel eSIM data plans for destinations abroad, from 39₪. It is our own store, in Hebrew, with Israeli-shekel pricing and support in Hebrew: you buy before the flight, the QR code arrives by email within seconds, and the plan switches on when you land. It is a data plan, not a phone line, and it does not carry your Israeli number. Prices and destinations are on the store page, and what each plan costs and why is set out in the eSIM price guide.
What TLV Flights is not
We are not the Israel Airports Authority, not an airline and not a travel agency. We cannot change, book or cancel a flight, and we have no access to a booking or to a passenger record. The one thing we do sell is the travel eSIM described above - no flights, no hotels and no travel insurance.
We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. The compensation section is information and self-service tools: you file and manage your own claim, and any compensation goes directly to you.
Flight data changes constantly and sources sometimes correct themselves after publication. Before travelling, critical details are worth confirming directly with the airline. Full terms appear in the terms of service.
Who runs the site
The site is built and maintained independently, in Hebrew and English, and is funded by advertising and by the eSIM store. Neither affects the flight data, the statistics or the order in which information is shown.
